  A priority for development, determined by the City of New Haven, Elm City Communities, and its Residents Representative Council, this project will create 104 units of housing on land adjacent to the Housing Authority‚Äôs 904 Howard Ave. property. The adjacent property is currently owned by Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH), which has entered into a Swap Agreement with Elm City Communities and Trinity, whereby YNHH will transfer its land to Elm City Communities, and Elm City Communities will transfer Rowe to YNHH after Elm City Communities completes the new development. This building will include approximately 2,000 square feet of first-floor retail/commercial space and approximately 2,000 square feet of community and support services space. The development plan allows for the new construction of high-quality housing units on an underutilized parcel of land for residents with a mix of incomes.
